Character Fandom: Angel - The Series
Canonical Point of Entry: After her death in S4, she spent two years in hell before coming to the village.
Physical Description: Tall (5’-9” without her perpetual heels), pale complexion offset by dark hair and sharp green eyes. Prior to her death (and since being in the village) she has been attacked and bitten by multiple vampires, leaving a series of the as to be expected scars on the neck. In addition to the fang marks she has to much worse looking scars from being stabbed in the carotid with a bone knife (which caused her death) and subsequent decapitating. Generally she wears a choker that covers the worst of these scars, and is incidentally an arrangement of small crosses.
Background: Very little cannon is known about Lilah's background. She has an undergraduate degree and a JD from Mortenson University (1991-1994); and worked for Wolfram and Hart straight out of school until her death. Her mother suffers from senile dementia and Lilah is the primary family contact for her assisted living caregiver.
Her favorite color is green, gemstone is diamond (of course) and she prefers single malt scotch over most other alcohol (though she's not entirely unfond of martini's or wine). She likes, shoes, good sex, red lingerie, and power.
Despite falling in love with one of the good-n-plenties and her own death, Lilah remains defiantly disinterested in redemption, the good fight, or much more than her personal power, wealth, and sex life. She wants power, she wants Angel out of her way, and she wants Wesley as often as she can have him, not necessarily in that order.
Personality: Lilah proudly claims to be selfish, self-interested, and utterly non-aligned in the great war except as it pleases her. She is ambitious, lonely and uses her 'vicious bitch' persona to hide a sensitive and fragile person.
There is logic behind the choices she has made, and the circumstances of her life and her death. Extremely unpleasant things happened to her as a result of the side she chose to affiliate herself with, she has been attacked by vampires, beaten, skewered, killed and had her heart broken; but she hasn't changed sides, or shied away from the choices she made that can't be taken back.
There's no real sign that she feels deeply conflicted over her actions or her love for Wesley in light of the fact that they're on opposite sides of the good fight but her death (and her sojourn in hell) has forced her to look at her life from another angle. This is why she's here in Haurvatat.
